Creative Thinking is one of the first courses that I've taken in the Industrial Design department. This course explored the different strategies, methods, and processes associated with creative thinking and problem solving. For this course, a case study of a person or product was done to analyze their method of the design process, and the methods learned in this course were applied to the packaging project.

Packaging Project: 3 Eggs
For this project, my team chose to design packaging for 3 eggs. To define our problem statement we surveyed target users, looked at the current market trend, and developed an experience map. Our team had a total of 5 concepts to decide from, so we used concept evaluation to score each one. The final concept chosen was the design I had made. We went through many prototype iterations to get the final model. Our final model was made so that it was stackable and easy to carry.
Case Study: Shigeru Miyamoto
Shigeru Miyamoto is the creator of Nintendo's most iconic character, Mario. For this case study, my team explored Miyamoto's motivations and inspirations that led him to become the most recognizable video game creator today.
